Gastroenterologist: Syracuse Gastro is a thriving Physician Owned Gastroenterology Practice based in Central New York. Our team of experienced gastroenterology professionals includes six physicians, two physician assistants and a nurse practitioner. The physician owned private practice has two main office locations, and a physician owned outpatient endoscopy suite. The practice also performs procedures at a large private hospital in Syracuse, New York as well as a small community hospital. The practice combines state-of-the-art technology with gentle care to provide patients with the best digestive health and endoscopy services possible.
Requirements: Gastroenterologist licensed to practice and prescribe in New York State, must be board certified or board eligible. Experienced clinician with expertise in Panendoscopy, Esophageal Dilation, Colonoscopy, and Flexible Sigmoidoscopy. Prefer experience in (ERCP) Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography, (EUS) Endoscopic Ultrasound, and Small Bowel Capsule Endoscopy or the ability and desire to learn. Medical record is electronic, computer proficiency is required, practice will train for system specifics. Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient demographic. Provide health promotion, as well as, diagnose, treat and manage complex patients in a variety of settings. Seeking excellent oral and written communication skills as you will provide collaborative care within the practice and with outside referring and specialty offices.
