Established in 2006, the UCF College of Medicine is an innovative and forward-looking medical school with a culture of collaboration and partnerships.  

The medical city at Lake Nona is a public-private partnership that is working to create a global health care destination in east Orlando. Medical city combines the energy and pursuit of excellence of a premier medical college with the resources of pre-eminent hospitals and world-renowned research institutes all of which is located five minutes from Orlando International Airport, the gateway to the world’s most welcoming destination.

Teaching faculty will be drawn from various departments in the university. UCF is home to one of the largest undergraduate student bodies in the United States and boasts a diverse and vibrant learning community. Established in 1963, its 13 colleges provide opportunities to 61,000 students, offering 210 degree programs from UCF’s main campus, hospitality campus, health sciences campus, and its 10 regional locations. The development of this program is in concert with the university’s goal of achieving international prominence in key programs of graduate education and research and in being America’s leading partnership university.
